TRAVEL TALES: Looking at your Home

I seem to remember and dwell on how divinely impeccable the world is but, at the same time, always forget my own country. This massive place that I called home, this place that I've not covered completely is just as valuable.

These photos are from a trip I took to Boston four years ago. Quarter-sized snowflakes coated our coats while walking through Harvard Square. Historical America came alive--something I hadn't really experienced before then.
Remember to love your home country as well as the world.

  1. I love that reminder! I often forget to love my home as much as I do the world.

  2. Amen, sister. It's a very good point, and it's why if I get the opportunity, I will always say yes to travel within Canada. It's such a massive country and lots of people don't have the fortune of seeing it because to properly do so would take years or lots and lots of money (or both!). I've been coast to coast and would do it a thousand times over!
